Abstract

In Cuba, orientation is elementary for each process, especially if it is the process of choosing the future profession, the educational psychologist must understand and help in it. This plays a very important role in the choice of the student's future profession, he must accompany him at every step and guide him according to his interests and abilities, and not only him, but also the family, a determining factor in this decision. Given the importance of this topic, the work addresses concepts and assessments, as well as includes an investigation carried out at the "Enrique Hart Dávalos" mixed center of primary and secondary education in the Mayabeque province, in which problems were detected in vocational guidance and professional training aimed at stimulating vocational and professional interests. Based on the difficulties detected through the application of interviews with managers, teachers and a sample of thirty students, a system of activities is designed to counteract these problems.
