Abstract

The paper reflects on the scope of an initiative that aims at linking universities with the territory and the (integral) training of professionals. The initiative in question is the project "Desconstru-YENDO: Educación Sexual Integral: Fortaleciendo vínculos en el territorio entre los CAPS y las Escuelas" -Universidad, Cultura y Territorio - Convocatoria 2021 of the Secretaría de Políticas Universitarias (Ministerio de Educación- Argentina). In recent years, the Argentine University system has given an important impulse and support to strategies that articulate the academic design with the social commitment of the university. In this regard, it is worth mentioning the definitions of the National Interuniversity Council through various Plenary Agreements; as well as different initiatives arising from the Executive and Legislative Power, including the ministerial resolution that invites universities, within the framework of their autonomy "...to incorporate in the curricular designs and curricula of undergraduate and graduate careers, educational social practices or as the institution calls them, whose compliance will be a necessary requirement for obtaining the university degree" (Resolution ME and D. 233, 2018). Throughout the paper we will reflect on the notion of critical extension as a political practice and some assumptions that should be addressed and present in these strategies of professional training and articulation of the university with the territory. We hope to contribute to the discussion about the forms that "the political" assumes, the spaces and practices that constitute it and its relationship with the production of knowledge in the university environment.
