Introduction: Contemporary development undergoes transformations in the economic, political and social spheres, which influence all spheres, among them the medical one. The systematization of different authors reveals the significance of performance to face the teaching-learning process with the quality demanded by medical care in Cuba. The parameterization of the research, the identification of the variable pedagogical professional performance of the teacher in the teaching of emotional integration in the subject Clinical Propedeutics and Medical Semiology is carried out.
Objective: To characterize the state of the pedagogical professional performance and the improvement in the teaching of emotional integration in the subject Clinical Propedeutics and Medical Semiology at FCM "Miguel Enriquez".
Method: An intentional universe of 121 people was selected for the study. The parameterization of the research, the identification of the variable pedagogical professional performance of the teacher in the teaching of emotional integration in the subject, its dimensions and indicators that characterize it are carried out.
Conclusions: The pedagogical professional performance of teachers for emotional integration in the teaching of the subject Clinical Propedeutics and Medical Semiology, is insufficient.
